Single-Owner 1988 BMW M3 E30 Coupe with only 26,000 Miles up for Grabs

Each generation has its automotive icons and the first generation of the BMW M3 Coupe (E30) is one of those cars that rank high up in the list of special vehicles for most gearheads who are currently in their 30s, 40s and 50s.

Given that it was built from 1986 to 1992 and putting aside heavily abused models or cars that were involved in accidents, the biggest percentage of M3 E30s have clocked many miles on the road and in many cases on the track as well over the years, which makes finding a low-mileage example a difficult task today.

BMW Venture Design Study Expands from City Car to German Hot Rod at the Touch of a Button

Vehicles with dual personalities are nothing new in the auto industry but designer Chris Hammersley has imagined a different kind of concept, one that can transform from a compact-sized urban commuter to a sportier looking hot rod at the press of a button.

The prototype study is named the BMW Venture and one of the main highlights of the project is a pair of arms that extend the two front wheels.

Akio Toyoda Loves BMWs, Says They're the Only Cars that Pass Him at the 'Ring

In yet another unusual for the industry outburst of cordial praise towards another carmaker after last month's listing of some of his favorite cars made by Toyota's domestic rivals, the Japanese firm's president Akio Toyoda expressed his admiration about BMW during a press conference today in Munich where the two companies agreed to expand their cooperation.

You can read Toyoda's heartwarming speech on BMW and what the partnership means for the two companies in its full context after the break, but here some bits that stand out.

Toyoda, an avid car fan and a weekend racer who has competed in the Nürburgring 24 hour endurance race, admitted or at least claimed that, "At the Nürburgring, there is always a car that passes me. It is a BMW."

BMW 1-Series Coupe Mistakes a Pedestrian Walkway for a Bridge…

If our Google translation of the video uploader's description is correct, a woman driving this BMW 1-Series Coupe (we could be wrong about the model though as the clip is of low quality) wanted to change direction and head towards the city of Santiago in Chile.

In the process, she confused a pedestrian-only walkway for a regular bridge, and well, she quickly found out that it wasn’t… Video and original description from YouTube follows below the break.

New Popular Car BMW 320d Winter Concept

New BMW 320d Winter ConceptBMW 320d Winter Concept by Miranda-Series :

Though there’s not much left of this winter, German tuner Miranda-Series announced a very good looking winter sport package for the BMW 320d (the current generation, but the version before the facelift). By optimizing the ECU, the tuner managed to increase the 2.0 liter turbo diesel’s power output up to 199 hp. Handling was improved by equipping the car with Eibach Pro-Street-S coilover suspension and Stop-Tech brakes. Other changes include new 19-inch black alloy wheels wrapped in Dunlop winter tires and new Recaro seats. However, there’s one small setback. The package, though it looks good, it’s not that impressive, but instead is priced at €13,544 (almost $18,000), which is a lot.
